From the Mississippi Delta to neighborhoods on the south and west sides of the city, Chicago Bound: The Great Migration of the Blues showcases the works of blues musicians who traveled North. It chronicles history through word and song. Chicago Bound features the music of Muddy Waters, Memphis Minnie, Willie Dixon, Otis Rush, Koko Taylor, Lillian Green, and others. They were major contributors who laid the foundation of the Chicago blues sound. Their legacies live in what we hear today. Chicago Bound is written and narrated by Cheryl Corley and features a stellar band lead by singer/songwriter Lucy Smith.
